    Hi,

I just came across one of your posts and was thrilled to learn that a Land Rover enthusiast with your qualifications lives in the Baltimore area. I own a 2003 Disco II which seems to have all the bells and whistles (every kind of leak that they are known for). I am mechanically ignorant but enjoy learning from this forum as it addresses every known concern I have with my vehicle. It would be great to have an Land Rover smart enthusiast that I can reach out to for mechanical repair advice. It would also be fun if I can tap into the world of off roading beyond my regular side walk excursions in Baltimore city.

I have a lot to learn about my vehicle and would like to learn while managing my own troubleshooting and repairs as much as possible.

I currently have oil leaks, steering fluid leaks, and issues with fuel burning rich and researching the best way to tackle these issues.

I look forward to hear from you.....Angelia

How do you like you new Evoque? They are soo beautiful and I saw an episode of Top Gear that they are VERY capable off road... I'm holding out for the new defender that is supposed to be here in 2015. I'm still trucking along in my 2000 disco and my 2010 Rangie....cheers, Brent

Well, allow me to welcome you to the US. Sounds like a terrific background. Would love to go wheeling with you sometime.

I was fortunate enough to visit Edinboro Scotland during my US Navy days and absolutely loved it. Would love to tour Wales someday as well.

I wish someone would combine the sport of golf with wheeling and have a course where you could use Rovers instead of carts to go from one layout to the next. Then I could combine two of my favorite activities.

hi, Im 42 and recently emigrated to the US from the Uk. I have had all models of series and a number of 90's and 110. I am a qualified mechanic so do my own work. In the UK I use to compete in off road compitions including Trails and speed events. Have been to and competed in many of the big events including the Nationals and was the team captain for North Wales LRC, even though I'm English in a UK winching compition and was also a scrutineer for these events.

Hoping to meet like minded people over here
