    Hi. Found the post you refer to and its date. Cannot remember doing anything to the triangular flange. Since posted the fix by tapping / hammering the steering pump pulley together with its triangular flange into the pump shaft the belt has not shifted anywhere. I did NOT remove the triangular flange nor part number 7. The triangular flange slides on the pump shaft with light hammering or prying out if you prefer.

    did your fix of the Power Steering pump mounting flange work long term? I have an 03 disco II and the belt is jumping off the pulley in the same fashion.

    just curious if this fix you did is good for the long term...
