So that could be a bit exaggerated but still.........
I've never actually owned a full solid axle vehicle before so part of me believes that is part of it, but maybe not all of it.

So my question would be, and I know this is subjective, but would the suspension links, shocks etc actually cause all of this harshness I'm experiencing?
Why am I not feeling the wavy bounciness like most cars with old shocks? My old S10 drove literally like a boat with old shocks.
What sort of improvements could I expect from updating everything a loaded question maybe, but in what order of value should I replace these components?

    I appreciate your feedback......

I thought this would be a IM sort of thing, but it appears it a conversation. Never used this before.
    So......

Wanted to pose a question to you about ride quality on the D2 after reading one of your comments about "comfort".
Mine is an 02 with 221k miles on it. It "appears" that everything suspension oriented is original and I mean everything from every link to the shocks etc.
While it actually seems to drive just fine, no bounciness like I might expect from worn shocks, it seems "harsh" to me.
We did some more gravel this weekend, some of which was rutted pretty good, pot holes etc and DAMN it just seems so rough.
We're crawling in some spots under 5 or 10 mph and getting thrown around in the truck while a Tacoma or Civic comes flying by... lol
