So I'm looking at three options on rear seating for my rover. Its the base model so it doesn't come stock with the seats. So I'm looking at either installing a Jeep wrangler rear seat, retrofitting the old side jump seats, or simply installing the 03 rear front facing seats. I understand each comes with a good amount of difficulty with installing so I'm looking for the best options when it comes to ease of instillation and cost. Also if you have any links for items that you used or have found for installing that'd be swell too!

The 03 rear seat setup is pretty nice. I took some out of a parts truck recently. When I was removing them I was considering how to put them in my 2000 rover but decided against it because, well, I like the storage bins. The neat thing about the 03 ones is that they pull up and into the storage bin space and look like a couple of storage bins when you are done.
To retrofit the 03's you need to cut your carpet and install the little channels (2). You'd also need the head rests and the plastic that goes above the rear door. The seat mechanisms bolt into holes where your bins are. I can't remember the seatbelt setup.
It might be an easy swap if you had all of the parts but if any of the bolts holes don't exist it could get dicey.
