Default Back-up Camera.

I'd like to mount a back-up camera (actually) I'd like to mount both forward and reverse recording cameras. Has anyone done one that mounts to the spare tire carrier and views through the hub of the wheel?

I managed to crack several of my backup sensors offroading when I put the rear bumper into the ground coming out of a railbed washout, so I'm looking for alternatives. I also want the cameras there to be able to record 'incidents' when appropriate. You never know what kind of authority abuse you might experience in foreign countries, you know, Like the USA.

I wanted to add a Flir night vision camera. I hear it is the latest in night vision cameras and used to be only available to the military. They are expensive but the flir site shows how they work, and its awesome. I go camping a lot and like the possibilty to see in the dark on really dark trails/streets. Last year my boyfriend and I went camping in North Carolina and he almost hit a dear so im thinking this is the way to go. I did some searching and found NAV-TV in Boca Raton Florida. I live about an hour from them and im going to call them sometime next week.........Any ideas? Has anyone heard of this? I also understand they carry a audio/video input for my Rover........I will keep you all posted.........Emma

Call me crazy, but I'd suggest driving with lights on at night. Really helps prevent running in to things.
