Default Overhead/Dome Lighting.

So, the dome lights in the Disco kinda bite. Has anyone found some that work well, preferably LED that can be used to replace and supplement the factory lighting? Like adding directional reading / map lights, etc.

Actually the more I think about it the more lack of things like door lights inside / out is really dumb. Having marker lights on the inside and outside of the door that would come on when the door is opened would help other drivers, cyclists, etc see and avoid your door when otherwise they might clip it.

Finding somewhere that sells appropriate lamp housings would be nice, google is really not helping today.

OK, I realize I'm talking to myself but it's therapeutic I'm thinking some LED based marker lights with clear covers mounted to the headliner with a toggle switch mounted beside them might work

Hey I'm with you 100% on the sorry excuse for interior lighting. I would love my Disco to have some sort of direcitonal map light arrangement similar to what's in my piece of crap S10 Blazer.
Here's the deal......I did the same here as I have done for my piece of crap Dakota.
Go to a home improvement store that sells Dremel accessories. they make a really cool flexible work light that will clip to the pockets above, or sun visor. It's LED and uses a disc typ battery. rather quaint.
