2017 Land Rover Discovery Aftermarket Rims
Hi everyone. We are new to Land Rover products and have ordered a 2017 Land Rover Discovery HSE with the seven seat option, the air suspension and the stock 20'' rims with 255/55-20 all season tires. Assuming it takes even a month or two to get the car, we'll receive it in winter and I am looking for aftermarket rims to mount some dedicated Pirelli Winter tires in the stock tire size. Only issue is that Tire Rack does not seem to have any rims on its website due to the car being too new and them not having an example to do rim fitment. Anyone out there know the bolt pattern, offset and other sizing information to determine whether aftermarket rims will fit? One other option is to get another set of OEM rims from the dealer but as you can imagine I would prefer a more cost-effective option. Thanks for any advice you can provide.

Also, don't know if this is helpful but the stock rims ordered with the car are the 20" 5 Split-Spoke 'Style 5011' (Part number: LR081586). Again, thanks for any info you can share.

And yet more information; I found this from the wheel manufacturer website:
Product ID: ALY72288U Product: Wheel/Rim Material: Aluminum Style: 10 Spoke Finish: Powder Coat Silver or Black Size: 20x8.5 Lugs: 5 Bolt Pattern: 120mm Option Code: Style 5011 OE Part Number: LR081581, LR081587 I have been unable to find other information such as offset, etc. Follow up question: Are the specs of the rim such that they are compatible with the 2016 Land Rover LR4 HSE? If so, Tire Rack does have some rims that would appear to fit the 2016 LR4. |
It is likely the rims will interchange the missing piece of info is the center bore diameter.
I know Lucky8 has already had a set of off road steel wheels on the new D5 with some Mud Tires mounted up. I would give them a call and see what they might have available. Contact info for them is in my signature |
Thanks so much!

Very cool! Thanks!

Just a bump for this thread. I contacted Tire Rack again today and they still have not gotten their hands on a 2017 Discovery to do wheel fitment for aftermarket rims. Any ideas for getting around this issue?

Did you reach out to Lucky8 to see what they have to offer?

I noticed that their rim is a bit like an all-steel rim designed more for offroad use. I'm looking for an alloy rim that can be used for snow but also just for driving in dry or wet conditions. I will be reaching out to my local dealer to see if we can get offset and center bore dimensions and then go from there.
