Trying to set up the Advanced Tow Assist on my recently acquired 2017 Discovery. Like the vehicle, especially the air suspension which prevents rear sag when towing or carrying heavy tools. Also the Trailer Stability feature avoids the need for lift bars.
Now trying out the Advanced Tow Assist advanced feature. Frustrating.
Using the set up from the camera screen, I reach the point where where you place the Target on the front of my travel trailer. But, the target is not found. The target area is shown with a yellow tint. I can clearly see the target but the area never turns green. I have tried the target stick-on in all positions, even removing the propane bottle, but no success.

Tow Assist only works when the target is within the inner green rectangle. You don't appear to have this inner rectangle, but I don't know why.
My setup never worked properly as the target was often outside the inner rectangle.
Simple Explanation - Advanced Tow Assist not an installed option!
Update - It seems that the Advanced Tow Assist is an option which I do not have.
Yet, I can go through all the set up steps, trailer axles, length and width until at the point where I mount the target in the yellow tinted rectangle. The target is not recognized! Why not just gray out the set up option as a hint that this feature is not available?
I have:
Drive Assist Pack - $2,900 includes 8 cameras
Capability Plus Pack - $1,275 includes Locking Rear Diff, Terrain Response and ATPC
It’s annoying (and downright stupid) they let you go through those steps when you don’t have the option.
I had wondered if the option was activated when the dealer adds the tow receiver as there is some ref lashing they are supposed to do. Seems not (which is what I suspected).
