@BchBum11511

How are the 33's working for you? Have you been off road with them? Any advice?

I just got my D5 on Saturday and had it off road Sunday, but the all season tires made for a rough and worrisome ride and I'd like to replace these tires soon.

I had the same problems with the Goodyear F1 tires. Recently went to a set of P-Metric Toyo A/T III tires and they have been great. They fill the wheel well nicely and have a lot better off road traction than the F1s. On road they are as quiet as the F1 with good rain performance. Waiting for our first snow to see how they perform there.

They are working great! I do get a small bit of rubbing in the front (mostly at access level), but I don't want to trim the inside wheel well to stop it. I like these much better than the first gen TA K/Os I had. They grip a lot better.

They are definitely louder than the all-seasons I had, but they're so worth it.

275/55-20 are about 32 inch tires. That's the size many of us have gone to. Many brands and models come in this size.

You have to be careful for 2 things: Rubbing of the inner fender due to the increased diameter (which hasn't really been a problem with 32 inch tires), and rubbing of the knuckle to the inside of the tire.

OP do you have any feedback on how the 33’s have been for off-road use? Are you stuffing them at full articulation or full turn, etc? This might be a sweet spot for height/width if they’re working well for you. Thanks

I haven’t done too much rough off roading. But no complaints. There’s only a slight rubbing on the front vents at full turn. If that bothers anyone, you could shave off the vents. Would definitely do them again.

Well damn, I had no idea 33” fit! Just got my D5 delivered yesterday along with 275/55/20 KO2. A little bummed now. I’m sure the 32” will still be great though.

That’s what I’m running , a 275/55 and it’s been great. I’d just like to get a full 33” MT on an 18 if possible. But good 275/55 tires are a great fit for this platform.
