Default Massive water leak, Discovery probably totaled

The winter rains have started, and it seems they've found their way into our 2020 Discovery this year (language warning):

We have a sloped driveway, and normally we park it pointing uphill, but this time it was parked pointing downhill. That's the only thing I can think of that's different, as the car did fine last winter. I verified the sunroofs were fully closed, and the headliner around the sunroofs feels dry.

A real bummer, as ours is a diesel so there's no easy replacement—even if there weren't global supply chain problems.

Wow - sorry to see that. That's a lot of water. I had the windscreen leak on my 2018 a couple of years ago but it was just a small trickle of water. They did say they park it nose uphill at the dealer when a car has this issue
I'd guess it's the windscreen given it's such a common issue. But LR will diagnose and fix

Lots of water but doubt it's totaled. You might need new carpets. Can you park it inside and put a dehumidifier in to dry it all out?

With the amount of water pouring onto the dash, I'm not going to even try to start it for fear of something shorting. I don't have indoor parking for it. It's been raining hard for the last 24 hours, and will continue to rain just as hard for the next 12 before turning to snow, so there's huge amounts of water that have gotten in it, some of which may freeze overnight. I'll have the dealer flat-tow the vehicle to the service center and see what they have to say. To me, this car is now like a "flood car." There's no way I could ever be confident in it again.

Don't "discard" it just now. I have seen cars where the water was worst than that. If you can disconnect the battery, and put a tarp on it - asap. It could be salvageable. PM me if you wish. Best of luck to you.

Thanks @Mechano2020 ! However, I really don't think I want this car after all this. Dealer towed it away today and is bringing us a loaner tomorrow. While our Disco isn't living up to our expectations, at least our dealer is working hard and taking the right steps!
