What type of chains/cables do you have? I need to get some but the options seem limited for my tire size.

I am heading to Mammoth for a week in February. I have the factory installed Goodyear Eagle F1. I’ve heard they are terrible in snow according to this forum. What do you think I should do? they have 11,000 miles on them should I swap them with some good snow tires right now and then keep the Goodyear’s for next summer. Or should I just take the Volvo v90 that’s got good Perrelli scorpion P0s on it.

Yes. I found the Eagle F1 to be terrible in the snow. I bought a take off set of Disco 20inch wheels identical to my OEM ones for $600 on eBay. Then got a set of Blissaks and put them on. So I use the F1 in summer as they have a lot of life left, and the winter wheels for the cold and snow season. They are excellent!
