Default No sweeping blinkers on my new 2022 Discovery?

I received my new 2022 Discovery HSE R-Dynamic carpathian gray and I absolutely love it. Its a BTO (built to order) but I noticed that mine doesn't have the sweeping blinkers (turning signals) and was wondering if any of you have them installed. When they first announced that they were going to have these types of blinkers, some were saying that the U.S. market would not have them at first but the European markets would have them. Years later I see vehicles in the U.S. with these types of lights including the new Audi SUVs. Any information is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Here's a link that will show you what I'm talking about. See 1:52 in this video.

Check your build sheet when you placed the order, they are called "animated directionals" on the sheet. If they weren't built them it would be "less animated directionals"

I know they got cut from the MY 23' discos because of the chip shortage.

I wonder if you can get them installed after-market, and if it would void the warranty.

Thanks. I'll check my build sheet. If it says "animated directionals" and I didn't get that installed, then hopefully they'll need to honor it.

Maybe... Though somewhere in the fine print of the contract I believe there is some wording that says they reserve the right to change buildouts based on whatever BS they come up with.

The line is "065FA LESS Directional Indicators" I believe

I am curious if its possible to add later on.

Was reading up on this today on Facebook, apparently animated directionals are illegal in the US, there is some small loophole to get around it like Audi but yea... Apparently no Land Rovers in the USA have animated blinkers.

Illegal? Uh-Oh... I purchased a pair from PowerfulUK LTD earlier this year for my side mirrors. They work great and look fantastic! Hopefully, I will not have to go back to the regular boring OEM pair.

Doubt you'll have an issue with mirror directionals.

Is the Ford Mustang blinkers Sweeping, directional, or sequential?

I would bet the cops in America would never notice.

If you like it. Get it.

That's a great question to ask if you ever get pulled over for blinkers

Well yea, I didn't say the cops would pull you over for it lol. Just why LR doesn't offer them apparently on USA models.

If anyone knows how to do it after-factory on a Disco 5 by all means post it.
