Default Pivi Pro Update, Apple CarPlay WIRELESS

Good Morning,

A huge update was just downloaded and installed on my 2022 Discovery on Wednesday night. Looks like a totally new display interface and now Apple CarPlay is wireless! Been using it for over 24 hours and everything seems to be OK. Spotify is temperamental through PiviPro but it was before the update too. Otherwise, wireless streaming through carplay has been flawless... Great job LR!

If it’s the same as the Defender’s should be 3.0

Thought I’d post these here too as they apply to all cars with Pivi and PiviPro. Tutorial videos by Damian Dinning, a JLR employee, that has been really active in the Defender FB groups providing great insights. See post #45 in this link.

Well, tried again tonight (double lock) and I am apparently still on the old version.
I have no idea how to "force" this update....

Same situation for me. My car is on the wifi for my house too just in case it needs that.

Don't think you can "force" updates (dealers probably can). So I guess it's all about patience.

I just got my new 2022 Discovery HSE R-Dynamic in Carpathian Gray and absolutely love it. Traded in my 2017 Discovery for this updated version. My salesman wasn't sure if the factory had updated my PiviPro software to the latest with wireless Apple CarPlay. Luckily they did and had CarPlay running for the first day. By the second day I kept losing connection and could not connect at all after checking out all the new features in PiviPro. Apparently you have to connect your iPhone to the vehicle's wifi and not the bluetooth. I had no idea! I was missing my CarPlay for days on end until I figure it out late last night. So just a reminder, if you want to only use CarPlay, auto connect your wifi to the vehicle's wifi which disables bluetooth connection since the vehicle is using the iPhone's connection.
