Rear Camera Washer Jet
I just discovered a washer jet/nozzle pointed at the rear camera. I have not found any reference to it in the owner's manual stating when, or how, to operate this washer function.
I've searched for rear camera, and for front and rear washer operation.
Anybody know how to activate this washer jet?
Did you even know it existed?

It activates with the rear screen washer jet. Press the little silver button on the end of the right hand stalk behind the steering wheel (the wiper stalk). One press of the silver button and it jets the reversing camera twice (as well as washing rear screen too). Works really well!
It definitely does it when in reverse gear, not sure when driving forward (can't see it to know!!)

Thanks,
I specifically looked for that in the online owner's manual.
I rarely run the rear wiper. I'm one of those people that are happy to backup using my mirrors so I don't care if my rear window is clean.

I haven’t taken the time to figure it out but it seems as if the rear wipers activate if you reverse and your front wipers are on. I always forget to confirm the settings after parking.
Very helpful as well as the camera washers.

It has been very handy when driving in snowy conditions where the rear gets covered in grime. Nice to have it cleaned off while sitting in the cabin to have a functional backup camera.
I don’t recall if you have to be in reverse while operating the rear washer for it to activate, ut that is how I normally use it.
