Default Rear Mounted spare tire

This is prrobably the most stupid thing that I will ever write on this forum but has anybody ever done a trunk mount spare tire For Example like using a hitch mount spare tire carrier and doing that has anybody done it and how would it look if supposedly I would do it.

Is that a regular RRS wheel on your spare? I’ve seen that they are direct fit for the D5 but never got so far as to verify the specs myself.

To be clear, this isn’t my truck. However, I do have the regular RRS wheels and the are a direct swap.

NOTE: I do not promote them or get compensated by them in any way.
I had their spare tire carrier on a Mercedes GL350 which comes without spare, and this saved me several times form some bad flats...irreparable.
