2003 range rover for newbie
I'm looking at a 2003 Range Rover, 33000 mi. $49995. I'm new to Range Rovers and wondering what kind of maintenance I am getting in to. It will be a family car and not go off road. I just always loved the looks of this car. My nearest dealer is about 2 1/2 hours drive so I won't have the ability to get the car to the dealer often.
Can you please advise if this is a reasonable price for this car. Are their problems with this particular year that I should know about. Expected issues. I've heard horror stories about 2002 and older cars.
Thanks for any advice.

Check out NADA. Average retail is around 53k without any options. The good thing about high end used car purchases is that they were probably bought by a type-A personality when new, kept in good condition, fixed when broken, and genereally coddled. See http://rangerovers.net/rrmkiiiremedies.html for common problems and fixes. Hopefully your target vehicle has the driveline mod and steering wheel vibration fixed all ready. Good luck.
