I used to drive fast cars and ride MTB, then realized I like deserts and mountains more than blacktop, got a Rubicon (JK) and enjoyed the world for a few years, now it's dead and it's time to move on.

I loved the Rubicon offroad, but hated its anemic engine on the road, and loathed the road noise. That, and "in your face" design deficiencies - it's the small things that get you. Now that I know what I want from an offroad vehicle, I might just hang around here for a long time. Don't know which vehicle I end up with in which order - the current plan is to get both the new Defender (working on specs), and LR4 (not going to wait 12+ months until the other one is delivered).
