Greetings!
Just bought my first Land Rover... a 2001 Disco II. Purchased on New Year's Day for $6k. 104k miles, most of the dealer records, no leaks, and most of the dealer maintenance records! Amazingly, everything worked except the driver's door lock, which would lock w/ the remote but not unlock. Unfortunately that broke two days ago too, so now it doesn't work at all.
This seems too good to be true, so I'm really hoping I don't find something too horribly wrong w/ it! I'm especially fretting about the head gaskets, but we'll see.
Anyway, just sayin' hi! Thanks for all the posts here already... they really helped me while doing my research before buying!!
