Default Finally got a Disco II

Picked up a black on black 2002 westminster discovery. Its a lil on the rough side but kinda wanted one to play with. 134000 miles, seems to run pretty good. Ive replaced the water pump first week of ownership, changed all fluids and maintenance according to discomike, got new tires. Next going to do plug, wires, o2 sensors steering dampers, bars, and headliner. There also seems to be quite a few leaks, which im pretty sure is normal. This is actually my second land rover the first was a 2010 supercharged sport. It got traded off for an x5m.

with the kind of $$$$$ in your wallet you should have aqquired a 2004 G4 Edition Discovery 2. Not very common and chances are the owners pampered them! Plus they come with most of the offroad trek acessories you need. Good luck though and welcome to the forums.

Not everyone wants an orange disco. The way I heard it said once was it looks great on a disco, as long as it isn't my disco.

I'd drive one though.

Yeah orange is not for me. I actually wanted something to work on and this one just came up locally, and trust me it needs work. It will be along term project. Oddly i like working on cars as a hobby. I revived an e46 m3 a few months ago and sold it for break even but it did turn out nice. I dont think this one will be break even. So i went cheap. This is a fifth vehicle, so no biggie. I debated about a 04 because the diff but i guess i can add that if needed. This website is full of info. Thanks guys.
