Greetings
Howdy everyone, did not see any specifics on what to do in this forum from the admins, so I thought I would just introduce myself and let you know what I'm looking for.
I've been into 4 wheel drives all my life (had several built Chevy's, Fords, and Jeeps) however I purchased my first Land Rover DiscoII after I borrowed my buddies (He owns a company called Rover Accessories) and fell in love with it. I had to eat an awful lot of crow after taking his truck off road as I always considered the Land Rover to be more of a yuppie mobile than a truly capable off road vehicle.
I'm primarily looking for technical tips and mechanical help (Jeezz these things have more wires and sensors than the Space Shuttle). I was a CH-46 (that's a helicopter) in the Marine Corps and still enjoying turning wrenches in the garage on the weekends.
Look foward to learning from the more experience Land Rover mechs on the site.
Cheers~
