Hello, 94 NAS Defender 90 near Sacramento
Hello,
I joined the forum to help a friend who inherited a nice 94 Defender 90. I belong to a Fiat forum that has been super supportive and fun so I like the idea of connecting in this way with the LR community.
my friend, would like to get his Rover dialed in and sell it. Just not a practical car for him as he commutes a lot and the Rover is worth too much to do the rugged work he does.
basically looking for a decent mechanic to iron out the kinks and will post a classified ad here to see if anybody in the community wants it.
The Rover is in Lodi, I am in Grass Valley, that’s why I put Sacramento area.
peace,
Ananda.
the owner is Rio

if your friend wants maximum value i would suggest selling it on www.bringatrailer.com auction site - Landy's bring big bucks on their auction

Thanks for the suggestion, disco96sd.
that was my first suggestion as well. Based on my experience with the X1/9 community, that is indeed the way to get top dollar.
I do like the idea of sharing it on a forum such as this to connect with a community of people with love for these vehicles but if someone is paying $75k-$100k+ on BAT, I’m guessing they are loving it as well!
on a less positive note, I bought a car on BAT that was not truthfully represented and I’m still working through the problems and resentment of that experience. My own fault on That one for being too trusting.
I also wanted to join the forum to learn more about this Rover as well as get advice on good mechanics in the area to take it to etc.
