Default Hello dere little critters

Greetings one et al,

I've just joined the ranks of Disco ownerdom, so naturally I'm looking for forums of like-minded individuals, and here I am. I'm sort of coming in at the end of the third reel - I just picked up a gently used '94 Discovery, red, appears to have come from Vermont. It's in pretty good shape, age considering- and comparing it to the '93 Ford Exploder Sport I traded for it, which is a year older w/ 70k additional miles, I'm satisfied.

So, what do I have to be on the look out for with these vehicles?

A bit about myself: I live in central NY, do web design &development for one of the area hospitals. I'm a Dad of two (one is just 11 days old!) and hubby. As long as it's not snowing, I'm usually found on two wheels instead of inside four, but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy a good 'wheeler, either. At heart I'm a motorcyclist though - I have a pair of Ducatis in the garage that generally keep all my automotive attention, but I used to enjoy four wheeling as well - I took the Exploder through Paragon a couple times, and along some of the trails in NH/VT/MA area. I also just sold my old 1972 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40. That truck I miss.

Looking forward to harrassing you with questions and reading up on my new whip!

Jake
