Default Hello, New Defender Owner

Hey guys, just wanted to introduce myself. I recently picked up a 2022 Land Rover Defender 90 S (P300) on July 5th from Land Rover Buffalo in NY state. I reside in NE Ohio in Geauga County and have always wanted a Land Rover and a 2 Door SUV. I’ve just recently came from the “5th Gen Ram” forums and I can’t wait to be reading all the threads on the new L663 and again, it’s a pleasure to meet you all.

Specs:

'22 | Land Rover | Defender | 90 | S | P300 | Eiger Grey Exterior | Ebony/Ebony/Ebony Interior | Ebony Morzine Headlining | 19" Style 6010, 6 Spoke, Gloss Black Wheels | Black Exterior Pack | Black Contrast Roof | Sliding Panoramic Roof | Cold Climate Pack | Front Fog Lights | Off-Road Tires | Tow Hitch Receiver | Basic Interior Protection and Storage Pack

The 90 is the way to go. Best looking Defender. Got any pics of the back seat area?

Yes I do! Tasman blue 110SE with all the off-road boxes checked. Its been very rare to find a build with the off road pack here in the sunny flatlands of Florida so I ordered what I want.

I agree and yes I do, there is a lot of legroom in the back too, and I’m 6’2”. I fit back there no problem with some room to spare. I love that. The 90 even has more legroom than the new 4 Door Bronco, crazy.

UGH……. I wanted the damn 90…… plenty of room in the back for adults, the safari windows placed perfectly for the back seat, over all look is better…. BUT it’s the accessibility when I have to put grandkids in car seats in the back and the storage behind those seats is lacking……

I can still amend my order……….

:facepalm

There is very little storage in the “trunk” but you can always fold the seats down. Also who cares? Like I can make do with less storage, we have an HD truck and I just sold my 1500, I didn’t need that much storage. In my opinion, just do what you want the most. Just make sure you get what you want and amend the order if you want (if you can even change it from a 110 to a 90). Besides you can fit a car seat back there no problem, but yeah it may be annoying fitting it back there each time. Or just go through the back with the seats folded down if that’s possible, lol.

As far as the Alpine Lights, for the 90 they are longer than the new 110’s, have no plastic divider in it like the new 110 does, and fit the back seat more position-wise, like you said compared to the new 110.

Back in the fall when I wanted a 90 and test drove the 110, it was such a hassle to order it. So I ordered a ‘21 Ram 1500 Limited EcoDiesel Off-Road Group, cuz I couldn’t wait. Ended up selling it after I got my Defender because I made a profit and I couldn’t be happier with my decision.
