Hi
Just been given a nice wee Series III by my Father-in-law and thought, as a newbie, I should look for some friendly forums to learn from those who have been there and done it.
I'm not really a mechanic, only previously having ever been able to do routine servicing on my cars, so got lots to learn. Plenty of enthusiasm to learn though!
First task is to clean up the chassis for a couple of minor repairs (my brother-in-law can weld, so that's a bonus) and then get it serviced and MOT'd.
As you can imagine, I cannot wait to get it out on the road for some wilderness camping.
Anyway, just thought I'd say hi first.

I second that welcome!
Read my tech info pages at www.eurotekapg.com to get a primer on the vehicles major components and systems. There are tips there to help the owner stay on top of the care and feeding of the Land Rover.

Geoman
