Default Land Rover Newbie from Seattle

I just purchased a 1999 Disco II and am looking forward to doing some mods.

I live in the Seattle area (Eastside) and am hoping there are others around and/or a good shop that I can trust.

Love the site....very informative!

Welcome neighbor! I am down in Renton.

I'm still learning the intricacies of the Land Rover myself, but I'd be glad to turn some wrenches (use your Rover as a guinea pig) anytime!

Biggs Eastside in Bellevue off of Bel-Red Rd, is a great shop that should be relatively close to you, good guys with pretty good labor rates.

Thanks, Rob! I just might take you up on that.

My first item of business is to get the door locks and keyless entry system fixed. Then it will be a lift kit.

I'll check out Biggs....not far from me at all.

Good luck with the locks, I've heard those are a "fun" chore

I just installed my OME lift in March so if you need a hand or some pointers let me know!

I'm hoping to find a local shop that can handle the locks for me. I don't need the headache.
