Default New Guy from New York

Recently got a 2000 Discovery with 90,000 miles. Great condition. I just changed the serpentine belt (that wasnt fun) and I'm looking to change the spark plugs and wires (one of the plugs looks like its been arching). I've been reading a lot about magnecor and Bosch platinum. I'm a bit reluctant to go with platinums because I've heard mixed reviews. Does anyone have any experience with Duralast or any of the more common over the counter brands from the typical auto parts stores? The car seems to be a bit underpowered when going up hill so that combined with the arching wire make me think its a good idea to change the plugs & wires.

Any advice/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

hey whats up man? where in NY are you? i would go with the kingsborne 8mm wires. they are a great price and hold up better then 7mm wires. as for plugs either go with the champions or i use bosch plat +4's in my D2. runs great.

welcome to the madness!
