I just bought a 1996 Land rover and love every thing about it. Why did I not know how nice these trucks are.

Welcome to the group. When you need help fixing something, and you will, post a question under the Discovey section. Lots of people willing to help.

Cheers!

Vacuum lines. They run from the intake to a T and one goes to the front under where the jack is stored. This is thecontrol unitto actuate the diaphragm. tough to get to. The other goes through the firewall to the brake light switch. There are 2 plungers that actuate with the brake pedal, so if you don't hear 2 clicks when depressing the pedal, you may have a plunger pushed in.

I have a 97 and I think it is the same as yours. If you don't have any luck, post it in the Disco section and others may have more things to check.

Good Luck!

Jason
