New LR4 owner in Colorado
Hi all,
Just signed the papers to buy a 2011 LR4. My first project will be setting it up to tow. It doesn't have the receiver adapter gizmo and, I suspect, doesn't have the wiring for the trailer plug (didn't pull the cover off). Any advice on that or sources for the bits would be much appreciated. It's super clean and just under 100k miles. My daily for the last several years has been an old Porsche, but I just move to the mountains and will need something more snow and ski worthy! I'm hoping it can replace my F250 (which used to haul a dirt bike trailer and a boat, but with the mountain move it's just the moto trailer) hence the need for towing ability and the sports car. Trailer is about 2k lbs empty and will generally be around 3k lbs with bikes and gear so not a heavy load, but does push some wind. Hopefully will take delivery Monday.
