Hello everyone. I'm an owner of a recently acquired 1999 Land Rover Discovery Series II with only 87,000 miles on it. I only paid $1200 for the vehicle and put in about another $3K replacing the water pump, fan, fan pulley, tensioner, new tires, etc., etc., etc.

The vehicle is in pretty good condition all things considered, but there are some cosmetic things that I'm slowly whittling away at.

I have a strong suspicion that this will not be the last Rover I purchase. I suspect this one is going to end up going to one of my kids (or my wife) and I'll end up getting a newer one in a few years.

Ones needing work can be had for cheap. Glad it's working out for you. Did you get to play with it a little in the recent snow?

I did. I drove my oldest son to the DMV to get his license.

It handled quite nicely.
