Hi guys,

Not sure if this is the right place for this or not, I bought a non-running Discovery II in 2020 and this forum helped me tremendously! Eventually got it to run and drive pretty well, but then learned about its multiple crashes and frame damage, so it got traded in towards my mom's R56 Cooper S.

Recently, I bought a 2006 LR3 and what a mess!

On the 2 hour drive home it went into limp mode, showing the "limited gears available" fault. Which turned out to be LED brake light bulbs the previous owner had installed.
Now I'm chasing down air suspension leaks and an overheating compressor, the previous owner told me one strut seemed to be leaking. That appears to be true, I replaced it and now the truck doesn't deflate overnight. But the compressor still runs continuously, so I dropped the cover to look at it...

Honestly I wasn't planning to post until I got it all working, but the big zip tie and the pool noodle stuffing were too much and I had to share!
I'm not sure what I've got here, is it a Hitachi compressor in an AMK bracket? Regardless I still have to figure out why it runs all the time.

Thanks!
