Self levelling & ACE
Hi
I am new to the forum and Land Rover world. I have been reading feed backs on a number of topics andam sureyou may be able to give me a guide note as to were to start.
I have recently bought a a SEII 2002 with full works. Yesterday I tried to resolve a problem with non op electrics on passenger seat by changing the 40 amp fuse. it blew as one should expectwith first move on back rest position change. but... the problem now has multiplied ... it brought up a number of other faults on dash.
Break, ACE and Self Levelling Suspension. Apart from break the other two are amber.
The SLS is the main problem as I pressed the dash button hoping to clear it off, rear suspension went down and now refuses to come back up.
I tried th disconnecting battery to rest but no response. the fuses seem ok I have looked under steering and engine comp unit.
Can you please tell me what can be going on.
The speedo has alsostopped working at the same time but the lights and rev counter are ok
Its (SLS) supposed to rest level at 8-13 miles speed but I assume it cant see this if the speedo is off?
Its the weekend and there is no service dept open in site. I am stuck.
I am hoping its a reset problem or fuse/ relay?
Many thanks
Please let me know what you think
Al
