Had time to tinker around today and this is what I think a D2 modified Aussie Expedition style would look like.

Yeah it's something I enjoy messing with! I try to stay with the Lego Speed Champions scale which makes attention to detail very tricky. The larger Lego LR's are less of a challenge because of the much larger scale. It's like a jigsaw puzzle to me except with Lego bricks. I've got several other LR models over at Bricklink

 

Unless they break tradition, it's definitely going to be Star Wars only, and likely a purchase of $75 or more. It is a Star Wars Kodi nox event after all.

 

Also interesting would be if the numbers are bad for Expedition, whether GGG will retract the approach / cave for 3.16 (or mid-league 3.15), or whether they will be able hold tight to the original vision 192.168.100.1 192.168.1.1 behind the 3.15 Nerfsplosion
