Default God made beer

I think it was Benjamin Franklin who said that "God made beer because He wanted us to be happy"..... and I heartily concur

These are some of the cones on one of my hop vines in the backyard. I am stunned by how large they are on this particular plant. I'll harvest them sometime in the next 30 days or so and if they have good aroma I'll use them in a batch of ale shortly after that.

Hugest hop cones I've ever grown !!

Nice hops looking healthy.

Best beer in the world is made in Burton on Trent good English (warm) beer at room temperature made the traditional way. To me the rest is just fizzy water

Burton on Trent Local History » Bass House

Burton-on-Trent?The World's Most Important Beer Town - All About Beer

Sounds awesome!! I'd love to get over there and hit up a bunch of pubs and microbreweries. Not anything Coors.... uggg .... but it sounds like there are new brewers in that town who will not be bought out and are producing the best beer they can..... to hell with the mega giants of the beer industry !!

try looking up beers on this site RATE BEER

If you like real ale and jazz this is a great weekend Chichester RAJF | Summer music and beer festival in Sussex

I used to attend regularly when we lived in the UK.

You may well recognise some of the beers and even the artists - some new, some up and coming and some of yesteryear.

Just got back from Bruges. They have great beer. Loved the Westy and Cantillon.
I may have to start brewing again. Seeing the hops may motivate me..

Unfortunately the last time we were there some years back it was raining all the time and the underground car parking machine in t'Zand square snatched my damn credit card and eat it I remember all the tourists sitting on the river waterbus sightseeing in the rain with all their umbrellas up ............ we were watching from a coffee shop ................. in the dry
