1. We have hundreds of oaks.
2. i have only seen mountains on TV
3. you can't even get a studio apartment condo for $200k.
4. All the wildlife is dead or vacated the premises, unless you consider homeless people, wildlife.
5. The Hudson river is full of conataminents from GE and LaFarge, they don't reccomend eating anything out of there.

Good thing you've got a Rover to get you the heck out of there!

2: More than any other 10 states combined.
3: My 2400 sq ft house cost $150k, in town with a view of the ocean.
4: See #2
5: We have it all. If there is water, there will be fish. Salt and Fresh water.
6: PFD

I have had this conversation many times and I would prefer a place without income tax, minimal impact on personal liberty, and open space. So far Texas hill-country is looking good.

Where I already live: Montrose, CO. Already in Colorado plus Utah is a heartbeat away. Best of all Denver and it's teeming masses are on the other side of the Rockies and Salt Lake City is also hundreds of miles away. Please don't move here though. Too many have already moved here in the last 20 years I've lived here plus we have lots of Gambel Oaks nearby and you don't like oaks. PS--No tornadoes, No blizzards though it does snow often, and no hurricanes.

I live in Anchorage Alaska and its nice...............But I really want to go back home to MAINE. Alaska is expensive!. You can buy 4-5 bedrooom homes on 10-20 acres in Maine for 200k or less, up here a run down 2-3 bedrooom in a seedy neighborhood runs 250K. I'm tired of this place honestly.

That's pretty typical housing pricing in Seattle too.

Is that the only thing about Alaska that sucks?
