Default Range rover or disco

Hi ppl I'm thinking of getting a range rover vogue or a disco 3 ,,,
I want it for a second car I do a bit of off roading not much just a bit of hunting and deer stalking ..
Which would give be the best jeep ..
I'm kind of leaning towards range rove because my buddy has a disco 3 and had a lot of trouble with it

With no disrespect intended, you do realize that a proper conversation entails at least two people participating, right?

The vogue carries a few more luxury items Difference between Vogue and SE spec? - PistonHeads but it also depends what you want to do with the truck. The RRV is bulkier and less suited to offroad although capable but given the choice I would go for the later D2 vs the earlier RRV. IMO D2=workhorse offroader whereas RRV or RRS=utility highway truck. It's personal choice as both are capable 4x4's if looked after and serviced well.

Thank you iv previously owned a D2 and I miss it sold it on 2 years back ..
Has not bin a day I regretted selling it ..
But the main reason I was thinking RR was a change it will be used as a second car ..
Also the odd day out for deer and a bit of lamping ..
Over hear a good D2 is the same price as a RR ..

I'm sure both the RRV or D2 will equally serve you well and the choice between them is a difficult one. It's a matter of choice and personal preference for the individual but for my part I prefer the D2 but that again is a personal perception as I also own an RRS.
