Would Tata motors ruin LR history ?
I loved LR since I was kid and now it is time to make my dream come true ,however I read a review for someone which knocked me upside down,he said that TATA motors which owns LR (I was shocked to know that fact ) will start introducing the Indian technology and styles on 2011 models ,he added that this will devalue ,depreciate and gradually strip LR off it is long royal history .
I am not that prejudice towards Indians ,but their products as well as the Chines are such a junk .
Please guys I need some serious answers here !
just took 2 Tylenol and my headache is still pounding after I read that review

Don't be so hang up on who owns the company. I'm not sure what that Indian influence means, but they're keeping the brands pretty true to their original concept, so I don't see why you shouldn't fulfill your dream... If you like the car, buy it, if you think the materials aren't good enough, don't. Just don't decide based on who owns the label.

If you are buying for speculation based upon some FUTURE VALUE, LR is not the thing to buy. They all depreciate like a mudslide. Buy one that has already seen a major depreciation and enjoy it as long as you can keep it going.
If you are thinking it will maintain it's value, you missed the boat. Find a solid one and enjoy it. If you got lots of money and want one that has not been abused, look at importing an ex-MOD (Ministry of Defense) retired vehicle from England.
If you buy a run of the mill soccer mom vehicle, be prepared to do a lot of maintenance that may have been ignored by previous owners.
