either or, BT Preferably, but how much functionality do you lose if you choose the Regular over BT?

I've used both regularly. The regular controls are ok, but once you use the BT version, you'll never go back. It is that much nicer.

will it code keys?I bought a key from a dealer in the states i'm in Canada i spent 350 bucks the key is for my LR3 but is not programed.

It will program keys.

I'm actually selling mine due to selling my LR3. It's a blutooth model BT.
