Default Replaced Fuse Box on my 2002 Range Rover and not it wont start

Hi all,

I think I am up against a theft deterring feature but not sure. I have been having problems with my RR, radio glitches. I noticed a couple relays were burnt and the fuse box was cracked. Figured that might cause my problems. I bought a new fuse box and new relays. Installed then exactly like the old ones where and the RR started and immediately died. Then it would not start again. I disconnected the batter and reconnected, all functions come on, lights, wipers, radio, etc but when I go to start the whole thing dies and nothing comes back on. Goes completely dead. I decided to put the old fuse box back in and the same problem occurs. Any ideas?

Thanks,

I would replace the fuses for the EFI and fuel pump. I know you just did this, but since that is what changed I would start there. Also, make sure you have the correct fuses in the correct locations, it is easy to mess it up. Does it act like it wants to keep running when it stalls out?

Thanks LR. After posting went back outside and re-checked all the wires. Turns our the positive post connection was loose and that's all it took.

thanks,

Just a little note when you think you are dealing with a theft issue/no start, always make sure the check engine light comes on in position 2, if you have a theft/ pcm issue the check engine light will not come on.
