2008 Range Rover HSE "Transmission Range Sensor" No Crank, No Start
I have a 2008 Range Rover HSE that I brought to the dealer because I broke the last keyfob I had. Car wouldn't start since the key wasn't recognized by the immobilizer. Dealership called me saying that they programmed the new key set and the car still won't start. They blame the "Transmission Range Sensor" in the Valve Body having gone bad. Quoted me $4000 for the part alone. I pulled the codes on the car before I brought it in and didn't see any codes for what they're talking about. Would that error cause a No Crank condition? Does anyone have any experience with this? I am towing it out of the dealership to do the work myself.
