I have a 2012 Supercharged Range Rover. The front struts need replacement. How can i tell if my RR is equipped with VDS? I see there are struts made for with and without VDS. I have tried to decode the vin and nothing is popping up that talks about VDS.

Pop the hood and look at the strut mounts. If there is a wire running to the center of the mount with 3 bolts around it & going under a center cap with 2 torx bolts in it. Then you have VDS. If not and all you see are the 3 mounting bolts, then you do not.

As you can see, i do NOT have VDS. Otherwise there would be 2 torx bolts in the center dust cap and a wire running into it.

My RRS is not supercharged I looked under the hood and the struts are covered with some plastic panels so I cannot tell if I have VDS or not.
