Does anyone else have an issue with the cupholders in the L405 where if you use any kind of bottle or cup with any weight to it (so pretty much everything other than a paper Starbucks style "to go" cup, the rubber cup holder insert often comes out attached to the bottom of your cup? I have tried packing around the rubber inset to try to get it to stay in, without much success.

Has anyone found a good solution to this?

 

I have a 2018 full-size Range Rover with a diesel, 36,500 miles. I have no issues with my cupholders whatsoever. In fact out of all the cars I’ve ever owned. I have to say it’s the best cupholder I’ve ever had. This cupholder is a vast improvement over the Range Rover that I previously owned that was a 2008.

When I had my 2018 L405, I never had any issues with the cupholders. What year is yours? I wonder if they changed the design of the cupholders on the 2018.
