Default Bluetooth Call Static Issues

Dear

New to the forum. Any help would be great.

Just got our 2024 Land Rover, and only 1200 miles on it. Everything seemed to work with the audio and phone system. But now, anytime we are using the phone beyond 10 or 15 minutes, the caller or called person hears static instead of sound (faint at first then becomes intense). Almost like a Geiger counter going off. Tried different phones, on/off connect/disconnect from the blue tooth, deleting the phone from the cars and reestablishment connection.

Once its starts doing it, it continues during that drive session, whether we hang up, start a new call, get called etc. But if you turn off the car, leave the car, and come back about 30 minutes or more later, the issue goes away, but then starts again after 10-15 minutes of being on the phone again.

It is so bizarre, and no one seems to have an answer for it. Aside from the service center thinking I'm crazy because it doesn't happen to them when they check it in the 3 minutes they evaluate, I'm not sure what else to do to diagnose the issue and get a solution.

Thank you in advance!

That is a strange one for sure. Have you tried locating the phone in different areas? How about the cell reception when you start to hear static? Make the dealership check the antenna connections as well.

Dealer fixed the issue by changing the mics/receivers near the headliner/sun visor area. No issues since. Glad it was an easy fix.
