Exclamation How to disable the engine idle shutdown system

Hi, I have a 24 Range Rover Super Charged. How do I disable the engine idle shutdown system. I have a dog I like to leave in the car with the engine running. Please advise

There should be a button on the dash to let you disable the stop and start feature but you will have to engage it every time you start the car. Some folks have disabled it completely, but I would not recommend this as it may void your warranty.

Hi, I'm not talking about the stop / start feature. I'm talking about how to keep engine running while in park for as long as I would like. I have pets I like to leave in the car with the engine running and the AC or heat on to heep them comfortable while I go on some visits that may take longer than 20 -30 min. The car automaticly shuts down afert 20-30 min. I would like a work around on this new feature. Thanks

I see and sorry I misunderstood your question. I do not have an answer for how to disable that. Have you tried leaving it in neutral with the parking brake engaged? I think I read somewhere that after a certain amount of time in idle, the car will shut down to conserve the battery. How about starting it with the remote app after you exit and lock the car?
Does your dealership not have a solution. Let us know what you find out as I also have pets and it would be nice to know how to disable the car from shutting down.

Thanks for your reply. The dealership doesn't have a solution. We should have the choice to leave the car running as long as we want just like previous versions of the range rover. I sure hope the LandRover forms can come up with a solution for us all! There has to be a way to disable. I read the Ford guys have figured out a way to disable it on the F150s. Hopefully we can find a solution.
