Range Rover Sport L320 Engine System Fault plus other faults
Hi,
I was driving my 2006 Range Rover Sport L320 2.7 Diesel and it randomly came up with engine system fault, the car went into limp mode. I turned the car off and turned it back on drove another 30 metres and it said the same thing. Did this another 2-3 times and then the car came up with transmission fault, HDC fault, park brake fault, and 1-2 other faults. Steering wheel went really heavy and the car cut off on me a few seconds later.
I tried scanning the car using my Autel Ultra but it didn’t scan the Powertrain Control Unit, Transmission Control Unit, HDC ECU, and 1-2 others but scanned the Body Control Module and then carried on scanning. Basically it missed the first 5-6 ECU’s that it should scan.
After taking off the positive battery terminal off for a few minutes and putting it back on the car started, drove it another 10-20 meters and the same problem occurred again and the car died out on me again.
I managed to scan the car and most of the codes were Lost Communication but in the Powertrain Control Module there were EGR fault codes which has been blanked out but there is another fault code, Throttle Pedal Position Sensor Switch D/E Voltage Correlation.
Please can anyone help me.
