This is my 3rd Disco, 4th Rover. I bought this rig about 4 years ago after looking for a year. It had just had nearly $6 in work done, and was perfect for my needs. I've put about 20k miles on her, mostly around town and a few brief "lightweight" excursions as too much off roading makes my son really car sick.

This is a great opportunity for someone that wants to build up a great off roading machine.

The good: with 143k miles, this Oslo Blue/Bahama Beige rig is in awesome shape. New windshield, ABS serviced recently, maintained by the former lead tech of the local dealer who went indy. Front driveshaft rebuilt with fore and aft lube points, balanced, etc. Replaced front seats with leather heated seats from an SE. Factory rubber mats in the seating and load space area, retractable load space cover, factory side steps, Hurricanes. It's a real beauty.

The bad: my 19 year old caved in the front bumper (didn't fire the air bags, but pretty much wiped out the bumper cover and bent the actual bumper). Needs tires. And the real clincher: the left side cylinder head gasket is leaking.

The pluses: comes with original Duragrain fronts and with leather rear seats, so you can mix and match your interior as you like it. Also comes with factory Warn winch A-bar including winch cover (no winch).

Still runs and drives (I've kept it mostly parked since the leak showed up - one trip to the shop to verify I wasn't imagining things, one to storage to unload all the gear inside - loses about half a gallon of coolant every 15 miles).

I'd love to do the head job, put on an awesome off-road bumper and keep her, but my garage is otherwise occupied and my homeowner's association won't let me do that sort of thing in the driveway.

So instead, I'm putting out the opportunity for someone else to take it on, and really enjoy it to the fullest.
