04 D2 for sale
04 D2
122k miles
Black on black
Clean carfax, clean title in hand
I have personally spent over $3500 in new parts in the last 2 months, with receipts. Previous owner had just done 4 new rotors, pads, and MC. Waterpump an 180 degree thermostat. As well as Range Rover 20" wheels with new tires, couple thousand miles on them.
It does Not over heat. Rotella 15w40.
If you have seen any of my posts, you know it's issues.
It has a Fault 108, continuous power supply interuption.
It runs, but has a slight miss. No misfire codes.
It had an engine tick, so I replaced the following parts.
Oil pump (cracked outer gear), lifters, pushrods, rocker shafts, spark plugs and wires, belt, aftermarket fan and fan clutch, air filter, cabin filter, D1 wiper arms and blades (still have D2 arms), new rear wiper blade, Lucky8 front driveshaft (have stock also), remanufactured steering box, power steering pump gasket, low pressure hose, all o-rings, all engine gaskets. Front passenger window motor and track
Head gaskets were done by previous owner. Weathertech vent shades and windshield shades, new cdl snd park brake boots, new windshield trim (both sides, not installed yet).
Have a transfer case rebuild kit, and rear drive shaft u-joint and rear rubber dampner, not yet installed. Transfer case has slow drip.
AC is cold, both sunroofs work. All windows tinted except driver and passenger fronts, and I have pre-cut pieces to do those. Everything works except power locks on front passenger and rear driver door, needs acuators or actuator motors.
Engine started to tick again! It is Not a slipped liner. No heating (temp checked on Hawkeye too), no exhaust gas in coolant. Inside engine is clean(have pictures), and no walked cam bearings. It can only leave rod and crank bearings, cheap and easy.
I'm sure I've forgotten some of the new parts.
For the right price or trade, I can throw in a Hawkeye and a new in the box UltraGage.
This thing has consumed my spare time for the last couple months, and I'm ready for it to go!
Make me a reasonable offer, or trade for 4x4 truck.
My F150 died a week after I bought this Disco as a project.
Located in south central Va, about 25 miles south of Lynchburg.

I can't belive I broke into this place!
I've always liked Discos, but this one doesn't like me.
I have a friend who is awesome at electrical trouble shooting. I'm hoping he can find the problem.
If he does, I'll put crank and rod bearings in, and it should be good. Otherwise, the right offer(not sure what that would be), and this is someone else's problem.
