Default 1973 Series III 109 exMOD 24 volt FFR.....$4500

Barn Fresh!

I recently got a 1973 Series iii 109 2 door ExMOD 24v 2.25 petrol. I'm already in the middle of 2 88's and another 109 undergoing restorations, so i would rather let someone else enjoy this one. The frame is very solid with only rust on some of the outriggers, easy fix. The bulkhead is also solid...two tanks with a switch over. One tank is great, the other could use a good cleaning/sealing. All the glass is good shape...HD salisbury rear axle. Steel wheels with military tires. Needs paint, some has already been stripped. Could use a brake booster, I have one for it, and a good going over. For a 1973 its in good shape. Transmission shifts fine as does transfercase.

This is a great vehicle for those of you looking for an easy project. I hooked batteries up to it and it turned over perfect and all the lights/heater worked. If you clean the tanks/carb and the put gas in it, there's no reason it shouldn't run.... I just don't have the time to. Everything indicates it will fire right up with a good cleaning. It runs whisper quiet when you pour petrol in the carb or use starting fluid, so we know it has good spark. The previous owner said it ran flawless when it was parked. The price would go up if I cleaned the tanks and threw gas in it......
The previous owner used it on his farm in North Carolina and when he brought it down here 2 years ago he drove it a few times, found a 110 and then parked the 109. It's been covered for the past 2 years. It has a canvas top that's a bit tattered, spare tire mount hood, a new muffler was put on it before it was parked.

All in all it is a great truck that's easily worth the price. Clear Florida title in hand.
Asking $4500 obo.....I am interested in trades involving other Series rovers, especially 4 door models, and early 90's 110's in need of work. If you have something to trade shoot me an email with details.

I can send pics to those interested...
