2001 Discovery II (Kalahari Edition)
Overview:
Selling our 2001 Discovery II Kalahari Edition with 115K miles. The truck runs great, and has been meticulously maintained (we are the original owners). We are hoping to sell this to another Land Rover enthusiast that will appreciate how special this truck is.
- Safari Guard front and rear custom bumpers
- Verifiable by LRNA and LR UK, Special Vehicles
- Never produced in orange until Trek /G4 Editions later
- Only a dozen made this year (6 in Orange and 6 in Yellow). Yellow and white were the colors selected for the 2002 production model.

This is an opportunity to own a rare piece of LR history! Please ask any questions you may have, as I am the original owner of this vehicle. It was purchased from LR Roaring Fork. All offers considered, $xx,xxx OBO.

Recent repairs and maintenance (since 2013):
New water pump and gasket
New timing chain
New head gaskets
New hoses
New O2 sensors
Fluids changed regularly (brake, diff, gearbox, transmission)
Current issues / Warning lights:
Three Amigos (ABS, Traction Control, Hill Descent) - Have not gotten the codes read yet to see what the cause is.
SRS warning light is on - Passenger side SRS sensor is faulty
Note:
This truck was rolled in a single-car accident on private land years ago. It is documented in the Carfax report.

Sooooooo......it's an orange D2 w a winch bumper....that's been rolled....w the Three Amigos on....and a bad air bag....with 115k miles....what exactly is "extremely rare"? Looks like an orange D2 to me. So 20k for the rare paint job? I don't get it.

Is the attached picture from the time it was rolled?
I actually like the color, but I'd rather buy the same truck in a different color for $5k elsewhere, spend a few thousand on a paint job and spend the remaining $12k on hookers and blow.

My mint condition 02 Kalahari was 4,500.00 and worth every penny.
And FWIW not every single Special Vehicle LR had the metal plaque under the hood. I have the rivet holes on my 02 Kalahari but no plaque, but it's 100% Kalahari. I also had a 97 RR 4.6HSE Vitesse in AA Yellow without the plaque. #1 thing to go by is the VIN #.
If that vehicle has been rolled it is NOT worth 20K unless there is 20k worth of gold in the back sorry.
