2003 Land Rover Discovery SE7
This beautiful Land Rover Discovery SE7 is owned by one of my auto detailing customers. As a perk of being founding members of a VERY successful traveling corporate rock band, the husband and wife owner of this vehicle have literally started a personal collection of Rovers. This will be the third Rover that they have sold in the in the last 2 years! Each year they buy a new Rover and have to sell off one of the "old" ones. They have placed a deposit on a new 2006 Supercharged Range Rover Sport so they have decided to part ways with this lowly 2003 Disco. Don't you feel sorry for them? Yea, me too.
The owners have asked that I place an ad for the vehicle and field any interest. So now I have to try and describe the features and condition of this Land Rover. Well as I thought about it I realized just how ridiculous that is. I mean your not here looking at this advertisement unless your familiar with these Rovers. My telling you about the dual sunroofs or the alcantara covered door panels is likely preaching to the choir. And trying to describe the condition is also somewhat silly. See, the owners have used my services for the past 12 years on such a regular basis that I don't need to keep their phone number in my date book or on my cell phones speed dial... Its permanently emblazoned into my memory! All 5 of their Rovers are detailed ($225 each incident) every 8 to 12 weeks, have never been smoked or eaten in and have never seen children. These Rovers simply rock... and roll. Before April and Mark take possession of each of their Rovers from Pioneer Centre Range Rover here in San Diego California they have both the front and rear seats covered in custom manufactured sheepskins. Whether you like seat coverings or not, it cannot be argued the protection they offer to the leather below. These leather seats have NEVER been sat on! They have been covered the entire 32,781 miles, which are, by nature of their line of work, nearly 100% freeway miles too and from San Diego - Burbank/Hollywood.
This Rover was specially ordered, as all of their Rovers are, in a Java Black exterior on black leather interior motif. Then subtle and detailed trim changes were ordered such as the 18" Mono Block style wheels (rarely seen on Discovery's), hard case style spare tire cover, special blacked out badging and elegant chrome oval exhaust tip. Everything is factory and this Rover is truly stunning. When photographing it I actually had people walk up and comment on what a nice vehicle it is. That's hard to do around here in car crazy Southern California.
Vehicle is virtually mint and has no scratches, door dings or any non-original paint. Only some very subtle paint chaffing on the nose of the hood from sand and road debris are signs that this vehicle is not, in fact, new. It is still under the umbrella of the factory warranty until December of 2006 at which point the new owner would have the option of extending it at an additional cost. Eric 858.775.7878
