2004 Discovery 2 White, 33s, 4.10s Lockers

I can swap the factory 3.54 open gears back in and drop the price to $9k.
This is a rust free disco that has spent its entire life in California and Nevada.

Some folks asking about the back up cam. I mounted the backup cam to the top of rear glass near the third brake light. Here are a few pics of it in action.

How has this not sold? I think the price isn't too far off the reservation. Man, I would have thought long and hard about it before I got the '00 I got about the same time this went up for sale.
I'm most impressed with the undercarriage condition- that's why I flew to SoCal for mine... Best of luck getting this sold.

If he doesn't take it, to eBay it goes.

There are a number of hardcore folks that will balk saying they can get something similar for $3k all day long, but as I've done months long searches for these things before, I think most folks underestimate the value of getting a machine that lived in the CA/NV climate and how hard it is to find one that has not only lived in that mild climate, but been enthusiast owned.
Bottom line, this hits almost every button I'd be looking for when shopping if I were looking for a turnkey machine. I'm happier with what I got as I wanted the 7 seats (and rear A.C), and am having fun with the airbags and I REALLY like the ACE system for how I drive it most of the time. But again, to anyone who is realistic about getting one that they can just drive and not fix everything that will need to be addressed, this is a winner in my opinion.

I'm asking $3500.00 for my 04 with 113K that is flawless inside & out minus the low oil pressure light. Not one person has even come to look at it..... Think I'm just going to save up & find a 4.0/4.6L engine and then sell it for 8K easy. Truly shocks me especially with all the complete crap for sale in my area including an 04 that went under 3+ ft of water during Harvey and the owner is still asking 4K for it with water in the headlights, and mold in the interior...
I bought it because I never had found an 04 that was in great shape inside and out. After buying it I just prefer my 99 & 02 vs the 04.
I've got one more front timing cover to install on the 04 to see if that fixes it, I've also got all the lower bearings to install. I just haven't had any time with work (especially after Harvey), and the family taking up 95% of my time to break down the engine, and try another front cover or swap out the bearings. It runs and drives great, and as long as you keep the RPM's up at idle it's fine.
P.S. every time I see this D2 I just think how close it was to being mine lol.

From the nationwide D2 prices I've seen in the last few months, it looks more and more like a seller's market.
Apparently the majority of buyers can't or won't work on them, and are willing to pay above book for a good one.
Given the condition and aftermarket parts on Easydoesit's Disco, I think it's a good deal.
By the time you find a solid truck cheap, do the repairs, add the lift, ect. You've easily spent more than what he's asking. Can it be done for less? Sure, with lucking across the right steal of a deal, but those are few and far between.
I don't like posting in someone's for sale ad, but at the same time, hopefully our comments will help it sell for him.
I see alot of decent looking D2s on the east coast, that aren't as nice, are stock, have or will soon have issues, and they want more than what he's asking.
Someone will get a really good deal on Easydoesit's D2.
And Best4x4, I think you're right on doubling your price, seriously. The $4k sounds like cheap problems to the uniformed potential owner. $8500 sounds more worth it to many. As owners, who can complain?
Me, that's who, where were either of you guys 7 months ago when I bought my 04 money pit?! lol
